To which locations do you ship?
Currently, we ship only to locations within the 48 contiguous United States, District of Columbia, Alaska, and the Hawaiian Islands. We cannot ship products outside the United States.
How much will I be charged for shipping?
The cost of shipping varies based on your location, the size (weight) of your order, and the amount of packaging material required to safely ship your items. However, for packages shipped to the 48 contiguous states and the District of Columbia, we charge:

Orders that are refused delivery and returned are subject to a 25% restocking fee (based on item total) AND the actual cost to ship the product to the original address AND any fees/shipping costs associate with returning an order back to our facility. Sales tax applied to any refunded amount will be reimbursed as well.
When will my order ship?
Our goal is to ship all orders within 3 business days of purchase, but we are a small business and additional production time is occasionally needed. If we feel that we cannot ship your order within 3 business days, we will contact you directly (via email) with a revised timeline.
When will my order arrive?
You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number via email once we are ready to ship your order, and this email may arrive a day or so before we transfer your package to the USPS. We ship with USPS Priority Mail and generally, the USPS delivers these packages in 1-3 business days.
However, due to "unprecedented volume increase and limited employee availability due to the impacts of COVID-19", all USPS guarantees have been suspended, and your package may take upwards of 2-3 weeks (or more) to be be delivered.
If your package is late, you may consider contacting the USPS. While Saranac Mountain Hearth ships all packages by Priority Mail (and as such, all packages are insured), we will not file a claim against the insurance until your package is marked as "lost" by the USPS.
May I cancel my order?
Orders that have not been marked as "shipped" may be cancelled with no penalty, but once an package is transferred to the USPS, it is out of our hands and cannot be cancelled.
May I pick-up an order or schedule a delivery?
At this time, we do not offer a pick-up service, nor are we able to make personal deliveries. However, we currently offer free shipping on orders of $45 or more from the Adirondack Mountains to the lower forty-eight. And if you find yourself in (or around) Saranac Lake, our products are available at The Village Mercantile.
